born in Saigon (Vietnam), came to Berlin as a boat refugee in 1981. He has been dancing breakdance since the early 1990s, and in 1992 he appeared on stage for the first time in the “Power Variete Show” at UFA-Fabrik Berlin. Since then he has performed for various variety productions, including for the GOP - Varieté-Theater Munich, the Wintergarten-Varieté Berlin and the Friedrichstadt-Palast, Berlin.

He also worked in the dance theater productions "Maria XXX" and "Total Weight" - the latter at the Theater der Junge Welt - by director and choreographer Heike Hennig. With his own Bboy Crew 5 Amox, Hong Nguyen Thai successfully took part in international breakdance competitions. In the 2013/14 and 2014/15 seasons he will be dancing in the theater of the Junge Welt in the dance theater production "Crystal - Variationen über Rausch" (choreography and direction: Heike Hennig), which was co-produced with Bayer Kultur.
